<p>I sometimes feel grateful that we are leading a vegan lifestyle at a time when alternatives are readily available, and communities such as Vegan Outreach India exist where it&#8217;s really easy to get/share amazing recipes. We don&#8217;t have to miss out on anything. Here is one of my hit lunch/dinner tofu recipes, an alternative to Rawa fish fry.</p>



<p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>250 g tofu</li>



<li>1 tsp salt</li>



<li>1/2 tsp turmeric</li>



<li>2 tsp lime juice</li>



<li>1/2 tsp red chilli powder</li>



<li>2 tbsp millet rawa/rawa</li>



<li>Optional:
<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>1 Seaweed sheet/1 tbsp furikake (seaweed flakes)</li>



<li>Oil for grilling &amp; marinating</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Instructions</strong></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Chop the tofu into long &amp; broad skewer style shapes &amp; pierce the tofu with a fork. </li>



<li>Marinate the tofu in red chili powder, turmeric, salt, lime juice &amp; oil. </li>



<li>It&#8217;s best to marinate tofu overnight or at least for an hour. </li>



<li>You can also marinate the tofu with seaweed or coat the edges with seaweed.</li>



<li>Coat the marinated tofu in rawa (semolina) of your choice and pan fry. </li>



<li>Dish out the hot crispy tofu and spritz with some fresh lime juice and coriander. </li>



<li>Once well-done, drizzle it with lime juice while still hot. Enjoy!</li>
