Vegan Butter

Here’s the best vegan butter that tastes so good. I use it for baking and as a breakfast spread. I love it with parathas. If you also crave butter every now and then, like me, then this is the perfect replacement. I know we don’t have the below ingredients already in our kitchen, but they are readily available in the market, and it’s pretty simple to make at home. 

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup refined coconut oil
  2. ½ cup almond flour
  3. ½ cup + 2 tablespoons soy milk (unsweetened and unflavoured)
  4. 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  7. A pinch of turmeric powder
  8. ¼ cup olive oil

Directions:

Blend almond flour, milk, salt, nutritional yeast, vinegar, and turmeric until smooth. 

Pour in the refined coconut and olive oil, then blend until smooth. Blend it in regular intervals. Please take a few minutes of break in between to prevent it from getting hot. If it gets too hot, it can split a bit.

Pour the liquid butter into a container, cover, and refrigerate until set.

Before using it, take it out of the fridge and let it get soft. It will be smoother and creamier.
